Dear colleages,

I tried to rebuild the Freiherren Schmitz Grollenburg Genealogie... Not that easy.
Thanks to sources I found among others on Adelslexikon (https://adelslexikon.com/?adel=17862&such&ab=S), I did the following (see attached).

Unfortunately, impossible to connect Catharina (1733-1803) and her brothers and sisters mentionned here (Franz Hermann (1735-1803), Johann Christoph, Franz Georg, Maria Catharina [op.cit.] & Clara Agnes) : https://books.google.be/books?id=23qVEQA...&q&f=false

Do you have an idea?

The Benzel tree seems no correct, as Friedrich Joseph (Johann Christoph's son) is not mentionned among the brothers and sisters, an his birth date is too close from Catharina's one (end 1732 - begin 1733)

Thanks a lot,

Matthieu

our largest website stammreihen.de got milliones of AI bot attacks during the last half year, and was often down for 2 or more hours nearly every second day

but our grandious developer (here called Hausmeister) installed some strong limits for requests and link-usage, so that the website is accessible most time now

please do not be surprised, if the website does not work any time again, You know the reason!

of course all statistics are nonsense with these new AI bots, but here You have our results for the last 2 years:

Hello everyone,

Please find attached some data about family von Käser (later zum Stein) in Bayern (XVIII-XIXth century).

They received a nobility recognition & Freiherr title in 1816 and totally changed arms in 1832.

I have two questions about this family :

1) I did not succeed to find Freiherr Johann Nepomuk von Käser's (Arnstorf 1747 - München 1827) parents ; any ideas about a path to follow?

2) It is very strange a family suddently totlay changes its coat of arms ; any information about this or reason that could motivate it?

Thanks a lot,

Matthieu

Liebe Forumsmitglieder!

Besten Dank.

Sebastian
