Schmitz Grollenburg

Dear colleages,

I tried to rebuild the Freiherren Schmitz Grollenburg Genealogie... Not that easy.
Thanks to sources I found among others on Adelslexikon (https://adelslexikon.com/?adel=17862&such&ab=S), I did the following (see attached).

Unfortunately, impossible to connect Catharina (1733-1803) and her brothers and sisters mentionned here (Franz Hermann (1735-1803), Johann Christoph, Franz Georg, Maria Catharina [op.cit.] & Clara Agnes) : https://books.google.be/books?id=23qVEQA...&q&f=false

Do you have an idea?

The Benzel tree seems no correct, as Friedrich Joseph (Johann Christoph's son) is not mentionned among the brothers and sisters, an his birth date is too close from Catharina's one (end 1732 - begin 1733)

if You buy these very rare volumes for Your castle-library, so You will find this Schmitz genealogy in vol. 14, page 240-243

By his age Friedrich Joseph (the father of Edmund) could be the oldest brother of all other Freiherren and Freiinnen, and got the title 3 months earlier in 1790, but seems to be a cousin.

Bytheway, this book has the complte genealogy of Johann Christoph v. Schmitz who married the Scherer v. H. wife (compare the second picture):

I don't know who was Catharina's father, I think he is also al the others (Franz Hermann (1735-1803), Johann Christoph, Franz Georg, Maria Catharina [op.cit.] & Clara Agnes) father !

They are born in Mainz, but I don't know with church to search !
